The Final Fantasy Trading Card Game, often shortened to FFTCG, brings together characters, summons and locations from across the Final Fantasy series. Players use Crystal Points to play Forwards, Backups, Summons and other cards from a 50-card deck.
What is the best FFTCG product for a beginner?
A Starter Set is the easiest way to begin because it provides a constructed deck or matched decks built around recognisable Final Fantasy characters. Booster packs are better for expanding those decks and exploring additional elements and strategies.
Can Final Fantasy cards from different games and sets be used together?
Yes. Standard Constructed decks can combine eligible FFTCG cards from different Final Fantasy titles and releases, provided they follow the current deck-building and banned-card rules. Separate formats, such as Title or recent-set formats, apply additional restrictions.
How do you win a game of FFTCG?
In Standard Constructed play, a player normally wins by dealing seven points of damage or by leaving the opponent unable to draw a card. Different Limited formats can adjust deck size or damage requirements, so use the rules for the chosen format.

Can I pre-order Final Fantasy TCG products from The Card Vault?
Final Fantasy TCG releases can be pre-ordered through The Card Vault website and other online sales channels such as the Shop app. If the pre-order add-to-cart option is not shown, we are not currently accepting pre-orders for that individual product.
Does The Card Vault sell Final Fantasy TCG singles?
The Card Vault stocks singles from across a wide variety of TCGs at our Glasgow Gaming Centre, including Final Fantasy TCG singles when available. The selection changes regularly, and singles are not currently sold online.
